Living in a rural town in southern California, about an hour outside of San Diego, offers year-round sunshine and lots of outdoor activities. My town, Fallbrook, is famous for avocados, but lately I've been seeing a lot more vineyards springing up throughout the hills. It is a beautiful place to live and be creative.

My wheels are always turning . . . anything and everything can be a source of inspiration. Most people watch a movie and focus on dialog. I aim for double duty. While listening, I focus on looking all around the room to see what is going on in the background. I get so many ideas by checking out everything in a room, on the street, or whatever the scene may show.
